It’s almost here! The iPhone 14 just hit stores, and it’s the best phone on the market. But there are so many great features packed into this phone, you may not know where to start. That’s why we’ve compiled this list of iPhone 14 features you need to know before buying one – or upgrading from your old iPhone XR – so you can get the most out of your brand-new phone!

What Are the Screen Sizes for iPhone 14

The screen sizes for the new iPhone are 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. The smaller phone has a retina display, while the bigger one has an ultrawide screen with a resolution of 2800×1242 pixels, which is close to what you would get from a Macbook Pro Retina Display at 2208 x 1692 pixels. That’s because there’s no home button on the new model, so Apple had more room to work with when it came to adding all that extra content. There’s also support for Face ID and Face ID 2 (a two-tiered authentication system) for unlocking your phone as well as animated emoji that react based on how you speak into them. Not only can the phone read your lips in order to decipher what you're saying, but Siri will suggest apps based on what she thinks you want to do next.

Right now, the phone comes in three colors: black space gray silver gold and Product Red (which supports HIV/AIDS research).

What do I think? Honestly, if I were going to upgrade right now this would be my top choice for sure!

What Are the Storage Options

The iPhone 14 will be available in two storage options, the first being a 128 GB model and the second being a 256 GB model. If you're someone who uses their phone for work, then this is the perfect option for you. This might seem like a lot but trust us, it'll be worth it in the long run. Not only will your phone have enough space to store all of your files without any hassle but you also won't have to worry about running out of space for apps or videos. Remember how we mentioned earlier that iOS 12 includes new features to help with battery life? Well one of these features includes better background management which means your battery life won't suffer from all those games you downloaded.

The Camera has been upgraded so that now it can now record 4K video at 60 frames per second which will look amazing when paired with Apple TV. We know what you're thinking-isn't 4K video more difficult to watch on an iPhone? But don't worry! The screen on the iPhone 14 has been improved to make sure everything looks crisp and clear whether you're watching YouTube or Netflix. Speaking of screens, the fingerprint sensor found on previous iPhones has been replaced with FaceID so that security is taken care of. With this feature, there's no need to enter passwords or PINs as your facial recognition will do all the hard work for you!

Are There Any Design Changes?

Well, Apple is still keeping the design of the phone under wraps, but rumors are swirling that it will be a thinner and lighter redesign.

It will have an all-screen front with larger bezels on the top and bottom for holding it.

The home button might be embedded in the screen and 3D sensing technology will let you unlock your phone with facial recognition or by scanning your fingerprint. The most exciting new feature of IPhone 14 is its ability to charge wirelessly. Just put your phone on a charging pad (or plug it in) and voila! Another great feature is the camera; two lenses create depth perception like never before so you can take pictures from any angle.

All those features sound amazing but what about price? When will I get my hands on one? No one knows yet because Apple hasn't said anything about pricing just yet. There's no word on when they'll be available either. But we're hoping to see them soon!

Stay tuned for more updates as they come out

Can We Use Our Old Cases with iPhones?

It turns out that the new iPhone14 has a slightly different design than the iPhone 13, which means old cases won't fit.

Luckily, there are a few ways you can make your old case fit your new phone.

1) If you have an OtterBox or any other protective case with a removable insert, you can just swap them out in seconds and never worry about it again. 2) You can also cut the insert from one of your old phone's cases and use that as an overlay for your new phone. 3) Or if you're feeling crafty, you can cover the back of your phone with clear packaging tape and then cut out what will become the appropriate size hole for the camera lens on your new model. 4) Lastly, if all else fails, don't fret too much! There are plenty of retailers online who sell universal phone covers that will work perfectly fine with your new device. Plus they're only $8-$12, so they're not breaking the bank either way. That said, if you want something more personalized, Etsy is always a good bet for handmade phone cases in all shapes and sizes.

Best of luck with your new iPhone14!

How About Changing Batteries in iPhones?

Apple is known for its commitment to sustainability, so it's no surprise that the iPhone has an entire page devoted to how you can conserve energy.

The most important thing you can do is use your phone as little as possible, but when you do need it, there are many ways it can be more efficient.

For example, turning off your screen while not in use and using the Do Not Disturb feature can save up to 2 hours of battery life per day. And by changing the settings on your mail account, you can choose to only have messages sent during certain periods of time (i.e., 9-5) rather than having them arrive all day long. These adjustments won't make a huge difference right away, but over time they will make a difference! And even if you don't want to change your settings, at least you'll know what you're doing and why. So, whether it's now or later--make sure you read about these changes before making a purchase decision!

Can We Upgrade Early?

One of the more exciting features announced during the Apple iPhone 14 launch is that you can trade in your old phone for a small credit. This means that if you are not eligible for an upgrade, you will be able to get a new phone at a discounted price.

Since the iPhone 7 Plus was launched last year, there has been a lot of talk about battery life and how it doesn't compare to other phones, especially Android phones. It sounds like Apple heard those complaints because they have announced two features on their latest model that should help with this problem: fast charging and wireless charging. With this, users will be able to charge their iPhones up twice as fast than before which should make waiting for a full charge less stressful. For those who hate being tied down to one outlet with cables, wireless charging is perfect because no matter where you place your iPhone on a wireless charger pad, it will charge up in no time!
